Yoga has been a part of my life since 1995. Inspired by the journey in my own life, I look at Yoga as a gift. I encourage students on the mat to trust their inner source of wisdom, to find their own inner teacher (sat guru) through each pose, one breath at a time. Through my love of alignment, I provide students a safe environment to explore, heal and integrate the body, mind & spirit.
Fascinated by the mind/body science of the eastern disciplines, I decided to become a yoga teacher. I began my yoga training of Interdisciplinary Yoga at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica where my teachers Don & Amba created a sacred space where I was inspired to peel the layers of my multi-dimensional being through self-discovery. I continued my training in the Hatha & Vinyasa Flow principals as well as Ashtanga Yoga. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to have learned from wonderful teachers like Maty Ezraty, David & Doug Swenson, Kino McGregor & Shiva Rea. Committed to my development as a teacher and human, always a devoted student continuously studying in yoga philosophy & history, anatomy, spirituality & the mind-body connection.
Finding my true self is a never-ending search as I am constantly growing and learning. Every time I step on the mat I discover something new about myself and the layers slowly begin to peel away.
Aside from yoga, I love to joke around, dogs, writing, drumming, dancing & being out in nature as much as I can.
